How is AIDYMO different from traditional tools such as B. Selenium?
While traditional tools are often based on rigid scripts, expecco and AIDYMO use a model-based approach (UML). This means that if a process changes, you do not have to adjust thousands of lines of code, but only a central model. In addition, eXept is one of the few providers worldwide that seamlessly links software tests to physical hardware (PLC, CNC, IoT) – an area in which pure software testing tools usually fail.
The products can be adapted very flexibly to individual test requirements, systems and interfaces, beyond standard functions. Almost all requirements, especially for tests, can be integrated by own modules, interfaces and logic, even if there is no finished standard solution for this.
We test hardware and software simultaneously. Is eXept suitable for this?
Yes, this is exactly where one of the greatest strengths lies. eXept enables integrated testing of software and physical hardware (e.g. B. PLC, CNC or IoT devices), which classic tools often cannot do.
Can I do my existing tests (e.g. B. from Selenium) migrate?
Yes, existing tests can be analyzed and gradually transferred to the model-based system. Optimization is often achieved, since redundant or complex scripts are simplified.
What does the support look like – do I end up in a call center?
No. You get direct access to experts who understand both the tool and the technical requirements. The support is personal, fast and solution-oriented.
